Richard Richardson potentially has more victims

Maple Ridge, B.C. – A Ridge Meadows man, 57-year-old  Richard Richardson has been charged with  committing a sexual assault on another male.

The act allegedly took place at Richardson’s home, where the 40 year old victim had been renting out a room.

“Mr. Richardson is well known to members of Ridge Meadows RCMP”, said Corporal Dale Somerville, the RCMP’s media spokesperson. “Richardson has a criminal record for sexual assault against a young male, from a file back in the early 1990s.”

This matter is now before the courts. The RCMP has released a photograph of Mr. Richardson to further the RCMP’s on-going investigation because there may be persons with additional information about possible other offences committed by Mr. Richardson, he added.
