Surrey sex assault on girl, witness video released by cops

Police are hoping someone can identify a potential witness to the events leading to the knife-point sexual assault on a six-year-old girl in Surrey.

She was walking with her 12-year-old brother and his 15-year-old friend when a man brandished a knife and took the child into a secluded area where he molested her.

Police have now found a video from a nearby home. It shows the child walking behind her brother and his friend a few minutes before the assault. Most importantly, a woman is seen walking behind them.

She could assist police by describing any suspicious activity she may have seen. Police are hoping someone can identify the woman who is most likely unaware she could help. She may be Ind0-Canadian.
