Visiting student from China missing from Burnaby home

A 29-year-old visiting student from China is missing in the Vancouver area and police say her friends are concerned about Sylvia Wei, also known as Siya Wei.

She left her Burnaby home on Thursday at around 11:00 a.m and has not been heard from since.

RCMP said she has long black hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. She is around 160cm tall and weighs 46kg.
