144 kilos of cocaine was concealed in truck entering B.C
Canadian border agents have seized 144 kilos of cocaine concealed inside a referigeration unit in a truck which was attempting to cross the border at Huntington.
RCMP said CBSA agents carrying out a secondary inspection on a truck belonging to a Vancouver area transportation company found the massive number of platic wrapped packages.
“The RCMP Federal Drug investigators took a 26-year-old Surrey male into custody and took possession of the large amount of cocaine,” RCMP said.
Police have recommended a charge of trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The suspect was released pending a court appearance in September.
