Surrey motorcyclist killed in crash
SURREY, B.C. – A 60-year-old motorcyclist was killed when a car crossed his path on Nordel Way on Sunday evening.
Police said the motorcycle was traveling east-bound on Nordel Way when a grey Nissan that was heading west turned left at the Mall Access Road.
The bike was smashed and debris lay on the road as police and ambulance attended the scene of the collision.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said the two people in the car, a 32-year-old woman and an adolescent passenger did not suffer injury.
RCMP say they suspect speed of both vehicles could be a factor in the fatal accident.
The name of the dead rider will not be released until relatives have been notified.
Police are asking witnesses who have not spoken to them yet, to come forward.

Our motorcycles have been garaged for months, under repairs. I for one can’t wait for better weather so I can get out on my supercross bike. We have some of work to do on it, and its gonna take some time, but like we do each year, we upgrade several of the systems, and make our bike better than it was before. Thanks for the article.
My condolences to the family of the motorcylist killed on Nordel Sunday night.
