14-year-olds charged in Toronto gang sex attack
TORONTO – A group of four boys, three of them only 14, have been charged with gang sexual assault of a Toronto woman.
The shocking crime occurred on Aug. 25. as a 23-year-old woman was entering the lobby of an apartment building where she lived.
She was rushed by a gang of six in the building in the King Street West and Dufferin Street area. She was then pushed into a stairwell, robbed and sexually assaulted.
Toronto Police said their sexual assault investigation team managed to track down the suspects.
Three 14-year-olds and one 15-year-old are each charged with gang sexual assault and robbery.
They are protected from being identified because they are young offenders.
They are to appear in court on Wednesday. Police said their investigation continues.

Otherwise, this would amount to defamation of character – the last thing a 14-year old needs is the stigma of a false rape accusation riding them for the rest of their life. Get a grip.
