Missing elderly woman from Burnaby is found

BURNABY, B.C. – (Update) Burnaby RCMP say a missing 78-year-old woman suffering from dementia has been located.

Shahsultan Dhanani, 78, was missing from a care home and police had asked for public help in finding her.

Police said the elderly woman who walks with the assistance of a dark blue walker wandered away from the New Vista Care home.

She has now been returned to the comfort of her care home.
