Josh Boden faces more sexual assault charges

VANCOUVER, B.C. – Former B.C. Lions player Josh Boden is back in police custody facing two more charges of grabbing women’s buttocks.
He now faces a total of four sexual assault charges.
Police said the latest incidents to come to light are separate attacks that occurred on August 13 inside an elevator and another one on a SkyTrain escalator on August 25.
“ A 22-year-old Vancouver woman entered her office building in the 1000 block of W. Georgia Street. As she entered the elevator, she became aware that a man had also entered the elevator behind her.
”The man selected a floor, but when the elevator doors opened, he didn’t exit and then pressed an alternate floor,” police said.
”As the woman reached her floor, she began to exit and felt her buttocks being grabbed. She turned and verbally confronted the man on the elevator before the doors closed,” police said.
Security failed to locate the man.
In another incident, 39-year-old woman was going up an escalator at the Burrard SkyTrain station when she felt her buttocks and chest being grabbed by the man behind her.
“She turned and yelled at the man, then ran up the escalator to get away. She called 9-1-1 from a nearby office tower, but the man was not located,” police said.
She called police when she saw the media coverage surrounding Boden.
His next court appearance is on October 21.
