Toronto man, 75, charged with nudist club child sex abuse

TORONTO – An international probe assisted by INTERPOL has led to multiple charges of child sexual abuse against a 75-year-old man.
Authorities said the man sexually exploited 40 children in 10 countries during the period 1969 to 1985. He gained access to children through nudists club.
On Wednesday the police child exploitation unit executed a search warrant in downtown Toronto.
“It is alleged that the suspect had sexual relations with many of his victims between 1969 and 1985. The suspect allegedly photographed more than 40 child victims in 10 different countries in sexually explicit poses,” police said.
“He gained access to children through his affiliation with various nudist organizations around the world,” said Const. Isabelle Cotton.
Julian Mardon, 75, of Toronto has been charged with buggery, two counts of indecent assault on a male, two counts of gross indecency, three counts of make or possess obscene matter, mailing obscene matter, possession of child pornography and making child pornography.
Police are looking for more victims to come forward – even though they are spread around the world.

What about all the Catholic priests?
Those who prey on children are attracted to any place where children can be found.
Parents just need to watch the kids or get a good babysitter.
I agree with Jerry. Such people who take advantage of children can be your neighbour. Being a person of “the cloth” or one in Authority simply gives the advantage greater but does not exclude any other person. If you are a father, mother, teacher, nudist etc etc. just makes it easier for such people. It is all in the mind, and we do not know what another person is thinking or secretly desires. No, one group can be tabbed. And I might add for the true nudist: their teaching is for a great respect for the naked body not one for taking perverse advantage of it. DOUG
