My initial reading of that sentence made it seem that faramin are arbitrary guidance. Perhaps a year ago Kilmanjaro had the same reading. Of course, I’d say that a farman is literally an order based on the Imam’s ta’wil so it is grounded in divine guidance. There is no question that he is the author of farman and owner of interpretation/opinion.

I don’t think it’s a matter of forgiveness. It is a matter of protecting the community. If what the defendants are doing reflect disregard for MHI’s authority, or if it in anyway compromises the community, then its quite understandable to see MHI take action to neutralize a problem.
