CALGARY – A passenger on a motorbike is in critical condition at Calgary’s Foothills Hospital after the bike he was riding on was dragged 24-metres following a collision with a car.

“The Yamaha was pushed approximately 24 meters towards the southeast and both occupants were knocked off the motorcycle. The Nissan came to a controlled stop approximately 30 meters south of the area of impact,” cops said about the crash that occurred at 11:35 p.m. on Saturday.

“The passenger of the Yamaha sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Foothills Hospital. The driver of the Yamaha and the driver of the Nissan sustained minor injuries. The passenger of the Nissan was not injured.”
