Suspicious death in Killarney home probed by cops
VANCOUVER – Police are probing a suspicious death inside a home in Vancouver’s Killarney area.
Police said they were called to the home shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday and found a man in his 20s was dead.
B.C. ambulances had arrived at the scene earlier and remained on scene for several hours. Several area roads were closed off by police as forensic experts combed the home in the 62-block of Battison Street.
“The home was cordoned off and the VPD Major Crime Section was called in to investigate what, at this point, is considered to be a suspicious death,” police said.
“VPD forensic investigators will be conducting an examination of the home this morning. Investigators are hoping that an autopsy scheduled for later today will reveal more information on how the man died.”
“Two men who were in the home when police arrived were taken down to the police station for questioning. Interviews are continuing this morning.”
