Cops: Father forced teenage daughter into prostitution
PENTICTON – A 49-year old Penticton man has been detained on charges of earning a living from his teenaged daughter’s forced prostitution.
Investigations of the suspected child abuse began in May and the man was arrested on July 22.
The Penticton Court has placed a ban on the release of further information likely to reveal the girl’s identity.
The accused father remains in police custody and will appear for a second court hearing on August 10th.
“Our investigation into this sickening case is far from over, as we now turn our sights on the evidence and information identifying a number of men who paid for and engaged in sexual activities with the girl,” said RCMP Cpl Dan Moskaluk with the aim of pressing charges against them.
Social workers from the Penticton RCMP Victim Services and Ministry of Children and Family Development who are counseling the girl have said they are touched by her “resilience and strength in dealing with the matter to date.”

Was this the girl’s REAL father, or her foster “father?” Children in the USA who are sent to foster care have at least FIVE times greater chance of being abused / murdered than those who are with their real parents.
