One pedestrian killed, another injured in Brampton car collision
BRAMPTON – One pedestrian was killed and another seriously injured when two cars crashed at the intersection of Torbram Road and Queen Street East in Brampton on Tuesday morning.
The collision involved a 2007 GMC Sierra driven by a 23-year-old man from Erin and a 1998 Nissan Quest van driven by a 17-year-old man from Brampton.
The GMC Sierra then lurched into two pedestrians. A 24-year-old Brampton woman was taken to hospital where she later died of injuries, and an 18-year-old Brampton man is in a Toronto area Trauma Centre in a stable condition.
