The demand remains the same. The loss of a supplier simply creates a vacuum that is filled by another set of suppliers.

Since you’ll never quell demand, you have to separate that which is dangerous from that which is clearly not as has been done with alcohol. There is nothing wrong with responsible adult usage of drugs.
