Four injured in collision on snow-covered Hwy 16


PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Four people were admitted to hospital with minor injuries during Christmas week last Tuesday when the driver of a pickup truck lost control of his vehicle on Highway 16 between Giscome Road and Upper Fraser Road, skidded into the opposite lane, and collided with an oncoming SUV.
One person had to be extracted from the pickup truck in which he had been pinned down.
All four persons were taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of Northern BC where they were treated for minor injuries.
Local cops are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
