Witnesses sought in Daniel Brand homicide
LONDON – Detectives are seeking witnesses to the events connected with the homicide of 40-year-old Daniel Brand of London at the “Up on Carling” bar last Saturday.
Brand was critically injured when he and a friend were assaulted during an argument with a third man in the bar at 2:45 am Saturday.
He was taken to the London Health Sciences Centre where he later died. His friend was treated there for facial injuries and subsequently released.
Police have since arrested Brand’s suspected killer, Chad William Thomas Hallett, 27, of London.
