Two arrested, two wanted for alleged kidnapping and drugs

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Two men have been arrested and another two are wanted after police were alerted to a kidnapping at rural property on Upper Fraser Road near Prince George on Sunday.

There they found a seriously injured man who was taken by the BC Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment.

According to police, the victim had been held in the residence for several days.

During their search of the property, cops arrested two men, aged 32 and 35.

They also busted a small marijuana grow operation and undisclosed stolen property.

Two additional suspects are still wanted by police in connection with the kidnapping: Francois Christiaan Merholz, 24, and Dillan Meerholz, 22. Both are wanted on charges of kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm, possession of criminal property and drug production.

All four suspects are known to the police.
