Murder suspected in Burnaby double homicide

SURREY, B.C. – The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in to probe an apparent double homicide after a passerby alerted the Burnaby RCMP to two bodies strewn outside a business in the 6500 block of Royal Oak Avenue Sunday night.

At this point in the investigation, “our priority is to identify the victims and determine their connection to each other,” said IHIT media relations officer, Sgt. Jennifer Pound.
