Teenage girls accused of human trafficking, abetting prostitution


OTTAWA — Two teenage girls, both 15, face multiple charges involving the abduction of other girls for the purposes of prostitution.

The two are suspected of taking three girls aged between 13 and 17 to a residence in the 2400 block of Walkley Road from where they were driven to other locations for the purposes of prostitution.

The two suspects were arrested on June 8 and 9, and face multiple charges including human trafficking, robbery, abduction and forcible confinement under threat.

A third 17-year-old victim is still missing.
