Three arrested in Mississauga kidnapping

MISSISSAUGA – Three men were arrested on Monday in connection with the kidnapping of a 17-year-old Mississauga man.

The three suspects are Bruno Maria Francis, 26, and Naqash Abbasi, 22 both of Mississauga, and Gravin Phillip,19, of Toronto.

They allegedly abducted the victim from his home on Monday in the area of Deer Run and took him to another residence on Otterby Road, Mississauga.

Several hours later he was released with minor injuries. He was able to contact police who arrested his captors within hours.

The three are to appear today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton to face charges of kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault and robbery.
