One man dead, another injured at Toronto café shooting

TORONTO – One Toronto man is dead and another slightly wounded following a shooting late Monday night at the Sicilian Ice Cream Shop on College Street.

The dead man, aged 35, may have been the victim of a targeted attack. A post?mortem examination of his body is being scheduled.

The second man was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The suspect is described as male, white, 6′ tall, blonde shoulder?length hair, and medium build. He was seen to be wearing a white hard hat, an orange safety vest with fluorescent green “X” on the front and back, and a white filter mask on his face.

Residents in the area are asked to check their properties and notify the police of any items that the suspect may have discarded as he fled.

Police would also to question patrons who fled the café at the time of shooting.
