Richmond Hill man charged with sexual offenses against boys

TORONTO – A 61-year-old man was charged at Old City Hall court on Tuesday for sexual offenses allegedly committed against a 12-year old boy whom he mentored between 1980 and 1983.

The suspect, Gerald Levine of Richmond Hill, was an active volunteer mentor in children’s organizations.

He is accused of gross indecency and committing indecent assault on a 12?year?old boy to whom he was a mentor between the 1980 and 1983.

During the police investigation begun last February, Levine was found to have allegedly sexually interfered with and exploited a 14?year?old boy, between 1997 and 1999.

Police say there may be more cases fo assault.
