Police probe river drowning of 30-year-old David Sebareme
OTTAWA – The body of a man pulled from the Rideau River on July 17 has been identified as that of 30-year-old David Sebareme, of Ottawa.
The Ottawa Fire Department removed Sebareme’s body after it was sighted at 8:00 pm floating in the river in the area of North River Road and Queen Mary Street.
Police are investigating the cause of death, though possible drowning has not been excluded.
The Ottawa police have asked the public for help in retracing Sebareme’s movements between Thursday, July 12th and the evening of Tuesday, July 17th when his body was retrieved from the Rideau River.
