Man, 26, charged with 14 gas station robberies
TORONTO – Cops from the Toronto hold-up squad arrested a 26-year-old man over the weekend suspected of having robbed 14 gas stations and convenience stores in the Toronto and Peel regions between March and August this year.
The suspect, Karthik Poologanathan, of Mississauga, allegedly entered the businesses demanding money with a note saying he was armed.
Last Saturday Poologanathan was charged at the Old City Hall court on 14 counts of robbery and failure to comply with probation.
