Chilliwack, BC – investigators say the shooting death of 27-year-old Kyle Cromarty was a targeted murder.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is now asking for public help in providing information on who’d have wanted him dead.
“On October 4, 2018 at 2:42 p.m., the Chilliwack RCMP received reports of shots fired in the 46000-block of Yale Road,” said Cpl. Frank Jang.
“Police arrived to find a man with gunshot wounds, who was taken to hospital.
“Despite the best efforts of medical staff, the victim died of his injuries. IHIT was called in and has assumed conduct of the investigation.”
Cromarty was a resident of Chilliwack.
“It is still early in the investigation but we believe Mr. Cromarty was targeted for murder.”
